DECIMATE, HATHOR, THE GORDON PROJECT - Rockborgen, Borås, Sweden - Dec. 3 2005
After a pizza and a beer I went to Rockborgen, and yet again I had to wait for too long before the first band wanted to enter the stage. This time it was a little more than half an hour. I mean, do this fuckers think they're rock'n'roll stars or what?! I don't want to sit and wait when I go to a concert, I want to see the bands and then go out and have a beer or just go home and sleep. Waiting is a waste of time! And I hate to wait!
DECIMATE was the first band out, and they probebly think they're local heroes or something....and that is said even though I know some of the members a little, the guitarist actually play bass in my band ABNORM. Whatever.. They played some kind of punkrock mixture of DANZIG and MISFITS, and sometimes there was street punk and 1 song was actually punk/hc. Really good stuff indeed, even though I think the songs could be a little shorter. It was a really good gig, but did they have to play for almost 45 minutes? I mean, the first band shoulden't play more than 20-30 minutes according to me. Egocentric kids.
Next band was HATHOR, who consist of 3 dudes from Göteborg who play some kind of MOTÖRHEAD punk. Really good stuff! I want to hear more of this! The show was really good, but there wasen't more than about 20-30 people there as DECIMATE and their "fan club" had left the building....weak. They finished with 2 MOTÖRHEAD covers, which diden't exactly surprise.
The last band was THE GORDON PROJECT, but I was so bored/tired by then and just wanted to go out and have some beer, so I left....sorry that I diden't support you guys, maybe some other time.
